Privacy policy
This privacy policy applies to the Brussels Bachkoor website. By using this website, you accept this policy.
Brussels Bachkoor respects the privacy of everyone who visits its website and treats the personal information you give us as confidential. Below you can read which data we collect and what we use it for. For any question or remark, write to info@brusselsbachkoor.be.
Which personal data we process
We process the personal data you provide yourself, in person, by telephone, by e-mail or through the contact form on this website:
- first name and surname
- e-mail address
- postal address
- telephone number
- photographs and recordings made during a public event
Special data and minors
We have no intention of collecting data about visitors under the age of 16, unless with the consent of a parent or guardian. We cannot however verify a visitor's age. If you believe we have collected data about a minor without that consent, write to info@brusselsbachkoor.be and we will delete it.
Why we use your data
- to show photographs and share recordings made at our events (legitimate interest)
- to send you an e-mail when news is published, with an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every message
- to call you when this is needed for the running of the choir
- to inform you about changes to our programme
Automated decision-making
We do not take decisions based on automated processing that could significantly affect individuals.
How long we keep your data
We do not keep your personal data longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Contact details are kept until you ask us to delete them or until we cease our activities. Identity, address and contact details are kept for 7 years where a legal obligation requires it.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your data. We only pass it on to third parties where this is necessary to carry out our agreement or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process data on our behalf we conclude a processing agreement, so that your data remains equally secure and confidential.
Cookies
This website does not place cookies to track you. For our visitor statistics we use Umami, which works without cookies and collects no personal data. Functional cookies may still be needed for the website to work, for instance to remember your language choice or to keep you signed in to the members area.
Access, correction and deletion
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You may withdraw your consent, object to processing, and you have the right to data portability. Send your request to info@brusselsbachkoor.be. We answer as quickly as possible, and in any case within four weeks. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
How we protect your data
We take the protection of your data seriously and apply appropriate measures against misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you feel your data is not properly secured, or if there are signs of misuse, write to info@brusselsbachkoor.be.
